Enjoy this 7.5-km trail from our Resort to Peung Vat Chas. Few years ago the route to up to mountain wasn’t built yet .The people who are living at village on the top of mountain must hike with delivery everything from the market to their village.
Therefore, this trail is very adventure experience of hiking . It takes an average of 2:30hrs to complete and back to resort with our car.

- BENG MEALEA was built as a Hindu temple, but some carvings depict Buddhist motifs.[1] Its primary material is sandstone and it is largely unrestored, with trees and thick brush thriving amidst its towers and courtyards and many of its stones lying in great heaps.
- KOH KE: The archaeological site of Koh Ker is a sacred urban ensemble of numerous temples and sanctuaries include sculptures, inscriptions, wall paintings, and archaeological remains. Constructed over a twenty-three-year period, it was one of two rival Khmer Empire capitals – the other being Angkor – and was the sole capital from 928 to 944 CE. Established by King Jayavarman IV, his sacred city was believed to be laid out on the basis of ancient Indian religious concepts of the universe.
- There is a sandstone quarry just north of Prasat Beng Mealea that forms part of a river bed. It is quite fascinating to see where the temple originated and the clear lines of where large blocks of sandstone would have been chiselled. It’s also a nice spot to relax, as many do.This creek continues north all the way to the newly restored Makara aqueduct, and to the south, feeds into the moat of Beng Mealea and in turn supplies the grand baray on the east side of the temple.
